Philadelphia Table Company is a boutique luxury furniture, and woodworking company renowned for our bespoke creations and commitment to sustainability. We're seeking an exceptional Operations Lead to join our team and contribute to our growth. While our expertise lies in crafting exquisite furniture, woodworking or furniture experience is not a requirement for this role. We believe in the power of diverse perspectives, and we're looking for an individual with the right soft skills and management experience to be our CEO's right-hand person.

Role Overview

As our Operations Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company, contributing to strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and overall efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with our CEO to address challenges, drive initiatives, and support the company's vision.

Preferred Experience

While we value a diverse skill set, management experience is essential for this role. If you have experience in project management, logistics, or related fields, it's a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As our Operations Lead, your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading team meetings alongside Paul, the owner

  • Delegating and assigning projects to team members

  • Ensuring deadlines are met and projects are executed efficiently

  • Handling client communications and maintaining excellent client relationships

  • Managing vendor communications and relationships

  • Purchasing materials and hardware required for projects

  • Organizing and optimizing our database system using Trello

  • Creating and maintaining standard documents and operational procedures

  • Coordinating shipping and delivery logistics

  • Overseeing quality control and ensuring our standards are met

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows

Your Impact

As the Operations Lead, you'll work in tandem with our CEO, contributing to critical decisions, implementing strategies, and overseeing various aspects of our operations. Your insights and leadership will shape the growth and success of Philadelphia Table Company.
