Philadelphia Table Company, is a boutique furniture, woodworking, and interior design company specializing in handcrafted furniture, custom furniture, millwork and interior design for both residential and commercial applications. We work with homeowners, designers, architects, business owners and more.

All of our items are handcrafted and made to order with precision by our team of highly skilled craftsmen at our facility in Gloucester City, NJ.

We offer a variety of pieces in our online store, as well as custom pieces. Items in our online store have a quicker turnaround and are often priced lower than custom pieces.

We prioritize quality, customer service, and communication.

We have a showroom in Old City Philadelphia, where some items can be viewed and that provides a place to meet, and to review samples and designs.

All of the items are locally made, and while most of our clients are in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Virginia we ship countrywide.

The Story

It all started in a (very) small garage…

Paul started building custom furniture because he couldn't find quality furniture that fit his specific spatial and design needs.  Over time his home was filled with homemade tables, buffets, coffee tables, cabinets etc. As friends would visit they would ask where he and his wife bought all of their pieces. Thus, he started selling to friends, then to friends of friends and quickly to complete strangers.  Paul and his team hope you enjoy these pieces as much as others do.

1% for the planet

We really, really care about the planet!

We LOVE trees and strongly believe in creating a positive environmental impact. Where possible, we work hard to sustainably source our material, work with eco-friendly finishes and stains, recycle and re-use disposables, and limit our consumption of single-use plastics. However, by simply running a business we are unfortunately creating a negative carbon footprint. To offset our impact, we have joined “1% for the planet” and donate 1% of our gross sales to reforestation. Some of the non -profits we have recently donated to include; One Tree Planted, Philadelphia Horticultural Society and Amazon Trust. Whether you buy a piece from us or not we encourage you to also be aware of your environmental impact and donate to help save our forests. 

Location:

We have a showroom and a workshop.

Our showroom is located, at 158 N 3rd Street Philadelphia, 19106 in the “Olde City” section of Philadelphia, PA. The showroom has a wide variety of showcase items, both for sale and for display. We do not currently have regular showroom hours, and encourage you to schedule an appointment HERE or follow along on our instagram where we will share open showroom hours.
