Team

Philadelphia Table Company is a tightly-knit team of dedicated craftspeople, each with their own unique set of skills and expertise. Your project will be handcrafted by a single maker from start to finish, guaranteeing an exceptional level of care, customization, and attention to detail. Any furniture shop will tell you this isn't the most efficient means of production, but we believe that the single-maker approach yields the highest quality products. Every piece that leaves our shop is a testament to the skill and dedication of our makers.

Paul | Head Honcho

he/him

Paul started PTC as a side hustle in 2014, quickly shifting his focus from touring with his rock band to working full time as a woodworker. These days, Paul leads sales and design but leaves most of the building up to his team. An avid outdoorsman, Paul enjoys surfing, hiking, biking, and spending time with his wife, Shea, and their two border collies.

Jackie | Operations Manager

she/they

Jackie’s background is in hospitality and community development, so they love managing the day-to-day at the shop and interacting with clients. Originally from Florida but a longtime resident of South Philadelphia, Jackie is a sucker for good design, a game of cards, and a counter seat at the diner.

Zip | Foreperson

he/him

Zip has been with PTC since 2020 and is responsible for some of the most complex projects in the shop. He discovered a passion for woodworking when furnishing his first apartment — rather than buying new furniture, he decided to build his own. Outside of work, Zip loves jet-setting to faraway places, adding to his tattoo collection, and fancy ice cream.

Bailey | Head of Cabinets

she/her

With over 15 years of experience in custom casegoods and a degree in architectural millwork, Bailey has a strong background in the field and a passion for building heirloom quality furniture. When she’s not creating casegoods at the shop, you might find Bailey enjoying clear soup at her favorite sushi restaurant, thrifting, or relaxing at home with a cup of tea.

Chris | Craftsperson

he/him

Chris got into woodworking after he restored an old pie crust table that he found in his attic. He enjoyed the process so much that he started making his own furniture and never looked back. Chris loves baseball (go Phillies), reading, and spending time with his wife Krystal, their son, and two step kids. He continues to build custom pieces to furnish their home.

Bryce | Furniture Installer

he/him

Bryce is a hobbyist woodworker, but his true passion is mosaic art. Aside from juggling many personal projects at home, Bryce loves to cook, build legos with his wife and two kids, and organize messy spaces (our delivery van thanks him!). His perfect day off includes spending time with his family, good pizza, and an extra thick chocolate milkshake.

Joe | Craftsperson

he/him

Joe came to PTC with over 30 years of experience in custom furniture design and fabrication. A graduate of the RIT school for American Crafts, he finds inspiration in work by Wendell Castle and George Nakashima. Joe and his wife recently relocated to Delaware from Upstate New York, where they love spending sunny days at the beach.

Marvin | Furniture Installer

he/him

Originally from Camden, Marvin relocated to Gloucester City in 2024 in order to be closer to his son. Once settled, he quickly got to work establishing an art and design firm, creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art and furniture. Inquisitive and on a constant quest for knowledge, you can find Marvin reading, going on long walks, and spending time in nature on his days off.

Jose | Craftsperson

he/him

Jose discovered a passion for woodworking at an early age. A recent graduate of Bucks County Community College's Fine Woodworking program, he takes tremendous satisfaction in creating something beautiful from a rough cut of lumber. When he's not busy at the shop, Jose loves spending time with his cat, hiking, and going to the beach.

Cleo Petty | Craftsperson

she/they

Cleo discovered a passion for woodworking while building theater sets and quickly began creating personal projects in her free time. With a love for teaching, she has experience guiding kids in woodworking at a summer camp. Having recently relocated to Philadelphia from Providence, she enjoys making ice cream, cooking, and biking around Philadelphia on her days off.

Sean | Craftsperson

he/him

Sean’s interest in woodworking was sparked by his grandfather, who would hand craft wooden toys for he and his sister every Christmas. In addition to his talents as a maker, Sean is seeking a business degree at Rowan University. Outside of work and school, you can find Sean traveling, playing music, and raising two dogs — a frenchie and pitbull mix.

Marcos Mayancela | Furniture Installer

he/him

Marcos is a talented craftsperson who takes pride in handing and assembling each piece that leaves our shop. Outside of work, Marcos enjoys art, graphic design, kayaking, and the thrill of skydiving. He’s a family man, happily married with a soccer-loving teenage son, a new baby boy, and a playful schnauzer.
